Welcome to Osaka! We’re a small e-commerce team selling Japanese products domestically and looking to expand internationally. Our company was founded in 2011 and we have offices in Osaka and Tokyo.

Internship Overview:

As an E-Commerce Intern, you will be immersed in various aspects of our online retail operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical skills and insights into the e-commerce world. You will work closely with our experienced team to support and enhance our online store's performance. You will also get the chance to research your own home country to see if Japanese products might become a hit! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Listing & Management: Assist in creating and managing product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling descriptions, pricing, and images.
• Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer support through various channels, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to help shape our product offerings and marketing strategies.
• Order Fulfillment: Support the order processing team in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Marketing Support: Assist in the execution of online marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media promotions, and search engine optimization (SEO).
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and website metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled (or planning to enrol) in a college, or university program or a recent graduate, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interest in e-commerce and online retail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and a self-starter.
• Interested in Japan and our culture. 
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and tools is a plus.
